About the Art(ist)
Whit Kelley is many things, but above all they are an animal lover, and this love is the primary focus of their paintings.
The Cat🐈Holic Saints (said with a definite pause between Cat and Holic) began as a way for Whit to memorialize and immortalize their own beloved cats who had died. Soon, they began to immortalize other animals in the same way in an effort to bring comfort to their devoted pet parents and remind us all that we are always connected by love.
“I paint flowers so they will not die.”
